Technical
Support Manager (TSM)
For
our client, a leading aircraft MRO company, we are
looking for a candidate. This is permanent position.
Responsibilities:
In
general, the TSM is responsible as the liaison between
External Sales department, Customer Support department
and internal production and logistics areas as it
relates to cost estimates, invoicing, shop visit costs
and customer requirements. Typical duties include
creating or supporting cost estimates and preliminary
work scopes, and interfacing with engineering and
production areas for appropriate inputs. Additional
duties include managing module or engine shop visits
and maintaining an overview regarding work orders
to ensure customer requirements are met, as well as
acting as a back-up to the CSM/CPM duties. Finally,
preparation and review of internal and external invoices
is expected. Ability to communicate appropriately
with customers and ability to support new business
opportunities are critical prerequisites.
Qualification:
- Bachelor/University degree in a Business related
area and 1-2 years experience in customer support,
preferable in an aviation environment or equivalent
education with 3-4 years experience technical background
(engineering/mechanic) and customer support related
area or equivalent education is an asset
- Strong knowledge with Windows XP/Vista/7 and MS
Office
- Intermediate knowledge with SAP Customer Support
specific functions/transactions
- Preferable fluent in a second or third language
